Historique :	L'acquisition de ce coffret-reliquaire de style néoclassique peut être liée à la restauration de la chapelle Saint-François. La date est précisée par l'acte authentique de 1833, signé de l'abbé Angebault, vicaire général de Mgr Micolon de Guérines, évêque de Nantes. Ce reliquaire y est décrit tel qu'il est. Il n'existe pas d'exemple connu de ce style dans le corpus protégé actuel.

Précision_sur la representation :	La base et les frontons latéraux sont ornés de reliefs en réserve soulignés de dorure. Les motifs représentent des grenades, des rameaux d'olivier, rinceaux, palmettes et angelots. La façade est percée d'une fenêtre ovale, vitrée, encadrée d'un tore de laurier et flanquée de 2 torchères stylisées. Les petits côtés sont ornés de la Sainte-Face au registre principal et d'un angelot au fronton.
