Description :	La structure du fuselage repose sur quatre longerons. Les flancs sont revêtus de contre plaqué de bouleau à l'avant et d'okoumé à l 'arrière. Le train d'atterrissage est fixe, les roues étant crénées. Le poste de pilotage est couvert d'une verrière en plexiglas soufflé avec structure tubulaire.

Historique :	Avion construit par René Leduc à compter de 1956. René Leduc était entre autres l'auteur du RL 12 réalisé avant la seconde guerre mondiale. L'avion présenté illustre le renouveau de l'aviation française après la guerre en ayant permis de battre sept records du monde. Le constructeur de cet avion ne doit pas être confondu avec un autre René Leduc s'étant illustré dans les vols supersoniques. L'auteur du RL 21 s'intéressait quant à lui à l'aviation légère. Au regard de son caractère exceptionnel illustré par l'histoire de sa construction, et les records qu'il a battus, cet avion mérite d'être classé.
