Historique :	Expertise de MM. Michel Decker et Nicolas Fauchère (professeur d'architecture militaire à Chaillot et au Louvre). Ce type de perrier s'est fait de la fin du 15e au début du 18e siècle ; celui-ci peut être rapproché ou bien de l'édification du châtelet dans le 3e quart du 18e siècle, ou bien des guerres de religion, les Gondi édifiant de nouvelles fortifications dans le 3e quart du 16e siècle, et M. Decker situant l'objet vers 1630. Ce canon est une découverte archéologique et il est nécessaire de le dégager de la gangue qui l'altère.
