Description :	Deux pièces de tapisserie, laine et soie, basse lice. La tapisserie représentant l'Eau est la plus large, celle du Feu est la plus haute.

Historique :	Ces 2 tapisseries ont été faites d'après la série des 4 éléments de Charles Le Brun exécutée 6 fois en haute lisse aux Gobelins et 3 fois en basse lisse à Aubusson durant l'époque de Louis XIV. D'après le descriptif de Georges Fenaille, ces 2 tapisseries ne sont pas des exemplaires tissés par les Gobelins. Cette série des 4 éléments de Lebrun sera reprise au 19ème siècle sous l'Empire.
