Historique :	Le Maillé-Brézé a été construit par l'arsenal de Lorient pour la marine nationale, mis sur cale à l'arsenal de Lorient en 1953 et admis au service actif le 4 mars 1957 ; il subit une refonte à Lorient de 1967 à 1968 pour être transformé en bâtiment de lutte sous-marine puis affecté en 1968 à Brest à l'escadre de l'Atlantique ; désarmé en 1988, il est remis à l'association Nantes Marine Tradition où il devient musée naval à flot.
